ACCESS Benefit Specialists are available onsite at our health centers and work with our care teams to provide patients with the following:  

• Benefits enrollment 
• Medicaid redetermination and enrollment 
• Insurance open enrollment assistance (Medicare and IL Marketplace) 
• WIC, SNAP assistance

Lack of transportation should not stop you from making your next appointment. ACCESS provides FREE transportation assistance to and from medical appointment. Ask about our transportation options when you schedule your next appointment.

ACCESS’ care coordination team helps those patients most in need to stay on track with their care plan and goals. The team also goes beyond the walls to ensure patients can access the specialty care services and get critical community resources when they need it. 

Care coordination is a FREE service offered to ACCESS patients who qualify to support their health goals. 

Eligible patients can save up to 70 percent on medications and prescriptions at participating pharmacies. Please note that insurance co-pays are not eligible for this discount. Please check with your provider during your next appointment for the most current list of participating pharmacies.​ 

ACCESS regularly screens patients for food insecurity and provides linkage to immediate food resources, and benefits assistance whenever possible. In addition, ACCESS and the Greater Chicago Food Depository provide regular FRESHTruck food distribution at the following ACCESS sites for ACCESS patients and our communities:

ACCESS’ partnership with the Legal Council for Health Justice offers patients free legal assistance on public benefits issues (including SNAP, TANF, WIC, and Childcare Assistance), Medicaid and Medicare, Social Security benefits, and some housing issues.

The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) offers uninsured Illinois women (18-64 years old) with free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings. The program is available at all ACCESS locations and our dedicated care teams are here to help you enroll. 

If the results show a breast or cervical cancer diagnosis, ACCESS’ care team can help eligible patients enroll for benefits such as: 

• Referrals for mammograms 
• Breast exams 

• Pap smears 
• Ultrasounds 
• Needle biopsy 
• Colposcopy 

For easy prescription pick-ups, ACCESS has partnered with Walgreens to have co-located pharmacies at the following convenient locations:

• ACCESS Genesis Center for Health and Empowerment 
• ACCESS Madison Family Health Center 
• ACCESS Servicios Medicos La Villita 
• ACCESS Grand Boulevard Health and Specialty Center 

• ACCESS Hawthorne Family Health Center 

ACCESS has partnered with Sinai Chicago to provide low-cost breast cancer screenings available to patients at ACCESS  Servicios Medicos La Villita.  

Oral health is very important to your overall health. While ACCESS does not offer dental care directly, we believe that your oral health is a critical part of your overall health. That’s why we have partnered with Sonrisa Family Dental to conveniently provide dental services at the following ACCESS locations:

• ACCESS Cabrini Family Health Center 
• ACCESS Servicios Medicos La Villita 

• ACCESS Blue Island Family Health Center 
• ACCESS Kedzie Family Health Center
